Speaking of fake news, I've seen what I believe is a work of fiction getting shared around as if it's true. There's a piece from Reddit NoSleep that has been making the rounds. It's somewhat off topic, but it illustrates the need to be careful about sources.
The "About Community" statement on this site says: "Nosleep is a subreddit for realistic horror stories. Everything is true here, even if it's not."
In other words, this is a site for FICTION writers. And yet a certain story based on the corona virus is being repeated as if it's real. I'm guessing that folks found it in a search and neglected to find out what the site was for. Be careful of your sources, folks.
