If you had nothing from Jesus but the Sermon on the Mount, and you did what he told you to do there, you would find the Father like he wanted you to do.

Once you get beyond 40,000ft, you look back and see every single organized religion is an empty box with a bunch of carnival barkers trying to get you to believe they've got God is trapped inside and for a small fee(tithe) you too can be privy to the wonder that is God.

Except God gave us all some of that free will he got, and I swear, if it wasn't so sad, he'd be laughing at these fools for even thinking there's a box big enough for a smidgen of the wonder of Our Father, Maker of the Math, and his Creation..

>my relationship with my Creator is personal

My relationship with our Father is very personal. Very. He was very hard on me at first. Had a lot of fears instilled in me since childhood that I had to overcome, one (just one) being that I'm supposed to stop at Jesus and let him carry me to the Father instead of seeking him myself, like Jesus said to do.

Faith is not for the faint of heart.

Just an FYI:

Bi-prefix meaning two

ble-suffix meaning fold

Way I read it there's two choices in the Bible, two roads, two paths to choose from.

Some of us chose the only path available to Jesus, to better understand what he might've been trying to say before the council of Nicea raised him up on that murder weapon as a dead god for all to worship. How many times has something like this happened in History?

Golden Calf anyone?.
