I worked on a dev team a while ago whose other members were the rogue/by-the-seat-of-your-pants type. I mentioned using an agile dev method and was told "they don't like schedules and shit". What they failed to realize is routines, processes, and schedules actually give you MORE freedom by not having to think about those details. (After 3 years they finally saw the merit and started using agile methodology.)

In the same vein, No girls on the internet/TOGTFO, actually gives females MORE freedom - to contribute equally instead of being judged as having less valuable ideas and information (because they're gurls dur hur).

Which was exactly my point. Was just pointing out the advantage to females of the policy. There are, by the way, plenty of male attention whores on the webs and IRL as well.
