People have some MAJOR reconciliation to do with regards to religion; ESPECIALLY Christianity. When I tell people to focus on the texts in red, it seems to go mostly ignored.
The entirety of the Bible is a pretty interesting compilation of thought. Jesus was literally red-texting the important shit.
"Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her."
For all have sinned, and fall short of the Glory of God. The Pharisees didn't have an out for this because since the beginning of time, God has ALWAYS been merciful.
“Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
The Pharisees were frightened of Jesus because he spoke the Truth to their lies. What was he writing in the ground?
“Then neither do I condemn you,”Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
Jesus acknowledged she had committed sin. Jesus did NOT condemn her. He had already forgiven her.
The Pharisees used the law to bound people into servitude of their false religion. That religion had all the followers of God doing everything the Pharisees desired, not what God wanted. Jesus usurped the power structure; the control over the masses.
The Devil loves to bring up the past, and it was a lesson I learned hard with some of the folks I've remained highly suspicious of throughout this entire journey. I'm not going to go through the long list of names, but Q saying "There are more good than bad" is tying DIRECTLY into this very lesson in scripture. Do you need more evidence?
Watch this again, and think long/hard about it:
