As I wandered around on the internet, I was interested in seeing what Bernie Sander's "summer camp" looked like. Would it look like what I would describe as a "camp"?

Initially, I was disappointed to find it was nothing special. Here's the site for you to see the pictures.

But I was interested in knowing this cost $575,000 and there was no mortgage. Bernie plopped that kind of money down as a Socialist? So I did a little more searching and initially his wife said the proceeds came from selling her share of her family's vacation home in Maine. Both were valued approximately the same, except she was only a one third owner along with her brothers.

Then his wife said they added some money from her retirement funds(which would be dumb tax wise) and some of his book proceeds. That's where it gets interesting.

It appears Bernie signed his book deal 2 days after endorsing Hillary for the Presidency in 2016 with Thomas Dunne Books, a part of Macmillan publishing. Are we looking at another way of laundering money through a book deal??!!

Here's an interesting article about some questionable finance tactics within the Sander's campaign back in 2016, as well as earlier campaigns. Are they getting a percentage kickback from advertising. There are more loopholes than holes in a sieve in these federal disclosure reports. A look at how WJC got around unreported income in his federal disclosures.
