However, a small percentage of tweets referencing QAnon also referred to Israel, Jews, Zionists, Rothschilds (a Jewish banking family at the center of numerous anti-Semitic conspiracy theories), or George Soros (a progressive Jewish philanthropist who is often demonized by the political right). This studyโ€™s methodology does not allow us to determine how many of the QAnon tweets containing those terms actually expressed anti-Semitic sentiment, but an impressionistic review revealed some troubling examples.
