When you're trying to defuse a hostage situation, sometimes you can't just storm the building without unspeakable collateral damage. Especially if the hostages are unaware they are even hostages and the criminal has nuclear weapons. Sometimes a cure is only possible if the patient remains unaware of just how dire the situation is.
You can't just call their bluff either. The shooting spree's are their low level warnings in this high stakes game. There are no do overs if shit goes totally sideways. This game is most certainly for keeps.
All possible scenarios have to be taken into account with acceptable casualties and the likelihood of success. Sometimes you need to let unspeakable shit go if bringing justice would trigger a catastrophic kill switch.
You can't win this game against psychopaths thinking like a rational individual. That doesn't mean you have to become a psychopath to fight them but if you can't bring yourself to understand the brutal nature of these people, you shouldn't be here.
We are the presidents nuclear option. They know that any injury done to him is suicidal for them at this point. Too many people would never let that shit go. Things may not have gone as quick as originally planned. But these people have had years and unlimited funds to plan and prepare for any attempt to oust them from power.
You can not seriously believe shit is not happening though. Pedo arrests, resignations and more people seeing through the media bullshit every day.
Hilldawg would have meant plan B and some think that would have been the better option. I'm not so sure because entropy and all that shit. It's way harder to put things back together than it is to destroy them.
Bigger that you can imagine is probably not something you have in mind. 99% in hospital means 1% are unaffected. Who do you think that 1% would be? The world would not be able to go on if the full truth came out is some pretty serious shit. So put on your armor and be careful of what you wish for because you will surely long for the days of calm for quite some time after the storm hits.
