Music historians seem to have enshrined the 6th symphony as Tchaikovsky's best, but my favorites, in order, would have to be

the 5th

the Manfred, op. 58

the 1st / Winter Dreams

That First Symphony, if you listen to it some cold night in January with the snow everywhere, is one to get comfy over your hot beverage of preference

But maybe the best seldom-performed works of Tchaikovsky are his sacred compositions for choir. Vid related. Those things have healing powers – it's as if the saints of the Russian Orthodox Church extend their hands in blessing when you listen to them.

Thank goodness for Mike Pinder and the mellotron

He claimed to have seen a UFO around 1967 that set him off on his rather creative musical path

Have started to wonder if there wasn't a Q connection there.

it was almost as if POTUS knows something (indictment? scandal?) is going to be fall Pence before November and he wants to be on record praising him to high heavens, lest anyone think there was a plan all along to remove him from the vice presidency.

Maybe I'm just over-analyzing.
