You must search on "DHS Whistleblower Philip Haney found dead" to get results, and there isn't much: only from original LawEnforcementToday, plus Reddit, etc. - see cap. Sources seem kind of sketchy.

Gateway Pundit DID run this story, but only one line said he was found shot dead near his car and had been missing since Wed. They did NOT cite a source.

It's not that we should not report on breaking news but that we should say it's breaking and unconfirmed until we have multiple confirmations from relatively trustworthy sources.

Especially important because we have no way of correcting PB notables. If something is flatly stated as a fact and turns out not to be true, that damages our credibility.
