Secretary of State Pompeo NEVER Told President Trump that Cyber Expert Bill Binney Had Proof DNC Emails Were NOT Hacked by Russia

A report on the Internet states that cyber expert and NSA whistleblower, Bill Binney, shared information two and a half years ago with then CIA Director, Mike Pompeo, that he had evidence that the Russians did not hack the DNC in 2016.

According to a report out this week, Pompeo, the current Secretary of State, never shared Binney’s information with the President.

National File shared the following report a week ago that Bill Binney shared information with Mike Pompeo in late 2017 that still hasn’t made its way to President Trump:

NSA whistleblower Bill Binney told then-C.I.A. chief Mike Pompeo there was no Russia Hack at the DNC. Three years later, Mike Pompeo is still sitting on that crucial piece of information.

William Binney, a 30-year former intelligence official with the United States National Security Agency (NSA) and high profile whistleblower, spoke with National File recently about his October 2017 meeting with then-CIA director, Mike Pompeo, which was called between the two at the direction of President Donald J. Trump.

Even though Binney boldly informed then-CIA director and now Secretary of State, Pompeo that he had proof and his own investigations that Intelligence agencies were lying to Trump about the Russians, Pompeo has not introduced Binney’s expert claims to anyone at Capitol Hill three years later.

As a result, the actors pursuing President Trump have been able to continue in their persistence that there was a Russian hack, a rhetorical feature which allowed the Russia Hoax to drag on for as long as it did.

At the end of that October 2017 meeting, Pompeo asked Binney if he would report his expert forensic evidence, which included hard data disproving Guccifer2 was Russian, and the claims that Russia hacked the DNC, which are the foundations of the numerous Democrat investigations by Trump and his administration related to Russian tampering.

“The President had suggested that he [Pompeo] talk to me and that was [Pompeo’s] opening statement to me. That the President wanted him to talk to me,” Binney told National File.

“The meeting was for Pompeo to learn the facts about Russiagate. So I said that I would tell him exactly what I know. I had been able to find out from open-source information that was posted by the Guccifer 2 alleged persona. I told him all of that. I told him that the agencies were lying to him. That it took me a few hours time to determine download speeds from open source material after they have sent billions of dollars, and they can’t find the same? Something is very wrong there is what I told him,” Binney told National File.

We’ve reported on Binney’s claims for some time. The whole “Russia hacked the DNC and provided their hacked emails to WikiLeaks” is a lie according to Binney and others.

This was the basic claim underlying the Trump – Russia collusion sham and the eventual Mueller Special Counsel coup and it was a lie!

What is Pompeo thinking? If true, his actions prevented the termination of the Mueller witchhunt and the Ukrainian scam impeachment.

Roger Stone Files Motion for Judge Amy Berman Jackson to Recuse Herself After She Praised ‘Integrity’ of Jurors

Roger Stone filed a motion Friday night asking Judge Amy Berman Jackson to recuse herself from his case after she praised the “integrity” of the jury that convicted him when she pronounced his sentence of 40 months in prison on Thursday even though she had Stone’s motion for a new trial based on juror bias pending in front of her. Stone was convicted in the Mueller probe last year on seven charges of lying to Congress, obstruction and witness tampering.

In the motion for recusal, Stone calls out Jackson for saying during the sentencing hearing, “Sure, the defense is free to say: So what? Who cares? But, I’ll say this: Congress cared. The United States Department of Justice and the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia that prosecuted the case and is still prosecuting the case cared. The jurors who served with integrity under difficult circumstances cared. The American people cared. And I care.”

Stone’s motion for a new trial was filed under seal, however the recusal motion indicates it is about juror bias, a likely reference to reports about jury forewoman Tomeka Hart.

An expert analysis by George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley of the voir dire of Hart can be read at this link at The Hill. Turley’s conclusion:

…It certainly seems Hart had no place on the Stone jury. The Supreme Court has repeatedly declared that the “minimal standards of due process” demand “a panel of impartial, indifferent jurors.” Hart’s record suggests little that is impartial or indifferent. She was perfectly within her right to engage in such commentary and protests — but she had no right to sit in judgment of an associate of the president after her public declarations. Her participation raises serious arguments for setting aside the verdict, from the possibility of ineffective counsel to the denial of due process.

The burden now is on Judge Jackson to hold a hearing on this matter and address the possible need for a mistrial. And one thing will be clear: Judge Jackson, in the words of Juror No. 1261, does not “gotta love” any of this.

Are US Intel 'Officials' Meddling In US Election With "Report" Russia Is Aiding Sanders?

With Democratic frontrunner Bernie Sanders spooking the Democratic establishment, The Washington Post Friday reported damaging information from intelligence sources against Sanders by saying that Russia is trying to help his campaign.

If the story is true and if intelligence agencies are truly committed to protecting U.S. citizens, the Sanders campaign would have been quietly informed and shown evidence to back up the claims.

Instead the story wound up on the front page of the Post, “according to people familiar with the matter.” Zero evidence was produced to back up the intelligence agencies’ assertion.

“It is not clear what form that Russian assistance has taken,” the Post reported. That would tell any traditional news editor that there was no story until it is known.

Instead major U.S. media are again playing the role of laundering totally unverified “information” just because it comes from an intelligence source. Reporting such assertions without proof amounts to an abdication of journalistic responsibility. It shows total trust in U.S. intelligence despite decades of deception and skullduggery from these agencies.

Centrist Democratic Party leaders have expressed extreme unease with Sanders leading the Democratic pack. Politico reported Friday that former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg’s entry into the race is explicitly to stop Sanders from winning on the first ballot at the party convention.

A day after The New York Times reported, also without evidence, that Russia is again trying to help Donald Trump win in November, the Post reports Moscow is trying to help Sanders too, again without substance. Both candidates whom the establishment loathes were smeared on successive days.

In a Tough Spot

The Times followed the Post report Friday by making it appear that Sanders himself had chosen to make public the intelligence assessment about “Russian interference” in his campaign.

But Sanders had known for a month about this assessment and only issued a statement after the Post asked him for comment before publishing its uncorroborated story based on anonymous sources.

Sanders was put in a difficult spot. If he said, “Show me the proof that Russia is trying to help me,” he ran the risk of being attacked for disbelieving (even disloyalty to) U.S. intelligence, and, by default, defending the Kremlin.

So politician that he is, and one who is trying to win the White House, Sanders told the Post:

“I don’t care, frankly, who Putin wants to be president. My message to Putin is clear: Stay out of American elections, and as president I will make sure that you do. In 2016, Russia used Internet propaganda to sow division in our country, and my understanding is that they are doing it again in 2020.”

EU poised to create massive transatlantic facial-recognition database, link with US

The EU is laying the groundwork for a massive international facial recognition database that may someday hook into the one maintained by the US, according to leaked internal documents.

National police forces of 10 EU member states are calling for a legal framework to create a massive system of interlinked facial recognition databases “as quickly as possible,” a report leaked to the Intercept on Friday reveals. Austria is leading the way on the project, which was still in its early phases as of November, when the report initially circulated among EU officials.

Produced as part of a project to expand Prüm, the EU-wide database-cross-referencing system that already allows for all-at-once scanning of individual DNA, fingerprint, and vehicle registration databases, the report calls for EU legislation that would create and connect country-level facial recognition databases, potentially all the way to the US. Because the US already has a Prüm-like exchange in place with countries that are part of the Visa Waiver Program, including most EU member states, some – including the alarmed EU official who allegedly leaked the report to the Intercept – believe any future facial recognition database network would include the US by default.

Innocent Father Branded Domestic Terrorist for Supporting Constitution

We first brought you the story of Joshua Martinez in 2017, when he was arrested for refusing to give his age to police on a Nevada courthouse steps. He was attempting to enter the Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse, without having to identify himself.

He wanted to attend the Cliven Bundy court case without giving up who he is and why he was there, something he believed was a clear violation of his constitutional rights. Martinez was denied entry. Later, in an attempt to sue the U.S. Marshals for disallowing him entry into the Nevada court, he returned to the court to identify the specific Marshals who denied him entry. That action turned out to be a mistake as he was promptly arrested.

Days later, while Martinez was working security at a local nightclub, several officers in plains clothes approached him and asked about his firearm. They informed him that, even though his H&K 45 in his outside the waistband holster was clearly visible, he was going to be arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit—a clearly false charge.

Martinez believes because he is a Constitutional activist he was targeted for arrest by one certain detective he later learned was a LVMPD Anti-terrorism Division Detective/Joint Terrorist Task Force with the FBI. His name is Detective Kenneth Mead. Cliven Bundy was cleared of all wrongdoing but Martinez wasn’t so lucky.

Even though Martinez was not a person prohibited from owning a firearm, and even though he was employed by the nightclub, and even though his gun was clearly visible, the charges stuck. Martinez took a plea deal which gave him 2-years of probation and had to spend 140 days in jail at the Clark County Detention Center.

When asked why his government believes he’s a domestic terrorist, Martinez responded:

I don’t believe in violence. I disagree with drug prohibition and driver licensing…simply because a person if for the legalization of marijuana doesn’t make them a pothead.

Nevada does not guarantee its residents a jury trial in criminal cases and I simply believe it is unconstitutional.

Martinez believes Mead likes to lump all people who make waves as constitutionalists and brand them as troublemakers. That’s what he says Mead did to him.

"The Human Race Could Go Extinct": JPMorgan Fearmongers Climate Change Impact In Leaked Report

A new explosive report from JP Morgan was leaked out this week titled "Risky business: the climate and the macroeconomy" warns climate change poses a significant macroeconomic risk to the world economy and could result in a "catastrophic" event.

"The response to climate change should be motivated not only by central estimates of outcomes but also by the likelihood of extreme events (from the tails of the probability distribution). We cannot rule out catastrophic outcomes where human life as we know it is threatened," the report advised its top clients.

JPM's David Mackie and Jessica Murray, the authors of the report, said: "climate change would not only impact GDP and welfare directly but would also have indirect effects via morbidity, mortality, famine, water stress, conflict, and migration."

They said the impact of climate had been underestimated by governments, adding:

"Something will have to change at some point if the human race is going to survive."

Pope Francis the Taxman

On the heels of calling for a Marxist economic conference this coming March (“Economy of Francesco”), Jorge Bergoglio (a.k.a. “Pope Francis”) has once again opined on financial matters. The purported head of the Catholic Church has now designated “tax cuts” as sinful behavior on a par, apparently, with stealing, lying, and adultery:

Today’s structures of sin include repeated tax cuts for the richest people,

often justified in the name of investment and development.*

Bergoglio did not mention what category of sin advocacy for tax cuts falls under – venial or mortal. Maybe the details of how such a policy ranks in offending Divine Justice will be hammered out at the upcoming Economy of Francesco Commie confab!

In Bergoglio’s collectivist mind, those who try and keep their wealth from the ravenous demands of the State are somehow denying the poor their just due:

Every year hundreds of billions of dollars, which should be paid in taxes to

fund health care and education accumulate in tax haven accounts, thus impeding the possibility of the dignified and sustained development of all/social agents.

What Bergoglio and his fellow socialists do not understand is that tax cuts lead to economic growth, whether they are for higher or lower income groups. The less wealth that the State confiscates, the more is available to be used for saving and investment – two keys to economic growth. The rich do not horde their money but expand and create businesses which leads to more and better paying jobs for lower income groups who supposedly Bergoglio wants to help.

The poor will only be uplifted by greater production where more goods and services are available at lower prices. Redistribution of income via taxation does not create new wealth, but simply transfers existing wealth from the productive class. Moreover, taxation has the deleterious effect of making individuals produce less since their efforts are siphoned off at the point of a gun. More taxation means less production and, thus, less and more expensive goods for the poor.

Of course, this is basic economic theory that any sane person can understand unless one has matriculated to a Western university or college or pays attention to economic ignoramuses like Jorge Bergoglio!

Bergoglio’s constant attention to the plight of the poor along with other social issues (“climate change,” the environment, immigration) does not align with the vision that the Entity, which created the office that Bergoglio currently holds, had in mind. On at least two occasions, He counseled His followers to focus their attention on spreading the “good news” instead of earthly concerns:

For the poor you have always with you: but me you have not always. [Mt. 26:11]

Let the dead bury their dead, but go thou, and preach the kingdom of

God. [Lk. 9: 60]

Airline Boss: Airport Checks Should Focus on Muslim Men – ‘That Is Where the Threat Is Coming From’

Budget airline boss Michael O’Leary has come under fire from Muslim groups and politicians for suggesting airport security checks should focus on lone Muslim men rather than families with children “because that is where the threat is coming from”.

“Who are the bombers? They are going to be single males travelling on their own,” said the Ryanair CEO in an interview with The Times.

“If you are travelling with a family of kids, on you go; the chances you are going to blow them all up is zero,” he suggested.

“You can’t say stuff, because it’s racism, but it will generally be males of a Muslim persuasion. Thirty years ago it was the Irish. If that is where the threat is coming from, deal with the threat.”

Predictably, the airline chief’s comments were poorly received by Muslim groups and politicians, who accused him of racism and “Islamophobia”.

“He openly advocates discrimination against ‘males of a Muslim persuasion’, which presumably is not based on specific intelligence but solely whether someone ‘looks or acts like a Muslim’,” complained a spokesman for the Muslim Council of Britain, which was linked to the extremist Muslim Brotherhood by a government report in 2015.

This is the very definition of Islamophobia,” the spokesman added.

Muslim MP Khalid Mahmood, who gained a certain notoriety during the expenses scandal when he was revealed to have claimed £1,350 for a stay in a five-star hotel with his then-girlfriend, was also unhappy with O’Leary’s remarks.

“Security at airports is not an easy process but these comments do not contribute to the debate and are not the way to deal with it,” said the Labour politician, who represents the Birmingham Perry Barr constituency.

“He’s effectively saying ‘everyone is game — if they look like a Muslim then they must be a terrorist’. It doesn’t improve community relations; it gives succour to people of a fascist mindset… Should we profile white people to see if they’re fascists?” he demanded.

“[O’Leary is] being very blinkered and is actually encouraging racism.”

DEA Agent Laundered Millions of Dollars for Colombian Drug Cartel, Say Feds

FBI agents arrested a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agent and his wife on charges they allegedly laundered millions of dollars for a Colombian drug cartel. Prosecutors allege the couple used the agent’s position and influence to divert millions in drug proceeds from the DEA to their own personal use, including the purchase of expensive vehicles, jewelry, and vacation homes.

A federal indictment, attached below, obtained from court records of the U.S. District of Puerto Rico states that beginning in early 2011, Agent Irizarry began to siphon off drug proceeds seized in his undercover capacity. Those proceeds would eventually be transferred to his wife, Nathalia Gomez-Irizarry, according to the indictment.

The first incident involved the seizure of $19,000 in drug proceeds confiscated in New York City. Additional seizures grew to a $932,400 in August in Mexico City followed by $400,000 in October in Houston.

The indictment alleges that Irizarry “caused DEA personnel to unwittingly wire transfer a portion of the drug proceeds to certain bank accounts that were only known to Irizarry and his co-conspirators.”

The indictment states that Irizarry had DEA personnel transfer $55,000 of the $400,000 seized in Houston to a bank account controlled by the government’s witness. The witness then gave Gomez at least $6,000 in a personal check deposited to an account controlled by the couple. The couple then allegedly used the money to make a down payment on a $66,925 BMW X5 SUV.

In October 2013, the indictment states Irizarry picked up more than $1,000,000 in drug proceeds in his capacity as an undercover agent. The defendant then caused more than half of that to be transferred to a bank account controlled by the defendant and Witness 2. The witness then transferred approximately $43,000 to Gomez and Irizarry.

The indictment continues, detailing the transfer of millions of dollars in drug proceeds for their own use and that of their conspirators. It also details the lavish spending of the proceeds on expensive vehicles and other gifts.

In January 2015, the defendants allegedly utilized the stolen proceeds to purchase a home in Cartagena, Colombia for approximately $767,000. The co-conspirators also transferred money to family members. One of the co-conspirators allegedly used some of the money to purchase a brand new Lamborghini Huracan Spyder valued at more than $300,000.

The lavish spending continued with other purchases of expensive vehicles and homes.

The 30-page indictment contains a total of 19 charges including Aggravated Identity Theft, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Identity Theft, Bank Fraud, Conspiracy to commit Bank Fraud, Wire Fraud, and Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering.

“It’s a black eye for the DEA to have one of its own engaged in such a high level of corruption,” Mike Vigil, the DEA’s former Chief of International Operations told the Associated Press.

“He jeopardized investigations. He jeopardized other agents and he jeopardized informants,” the chief continued. “I’ve never seen a DEA agent charged with so many counts.”

Harvey Weinstein Rape Trial Jurors Split On Most Serious Charges, Judge Says They Must Reach Unanimous Decision

Jurors in the rape trial against disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein are reportedly split on the two most serious charges that he is facing.

During their lunch break on Friday, the jury of seven men and five women sent a note to presiding Judge James Burke asking if they are allowed to be hung on the two counts of predatory sexual assault.

“We the jury ask if we can be hung on counts one and three, and unanimous on the others,” the note reportedly read.

According to a report from USA Today, the judge told them to keep deliberating until they could come to an agreement.

“We’re not willing to accept” a partial verdict, Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Joan Illuzzi said.

The judge sided with Illuzzi and said that they must reach a unanimous decision.

“I have your note. Any verdict you return on any counts must be unanimous, so I will ask you to resume your deliberations,” Burke said.

“Just remember that you are in a critical stage,” Burke told the jurors as he dismissed them at 3 p.m. “All deliberations must cease and not continue until you are all in the jury room Monday at 9:30 am.”

The 67-year-old producer is charged with five sex crimes including rape. They stem from allegations by two women, Miriam “Mimi” Haley, who says Weinstein forced her to perform oral sex on him in 2006, and Jessica Mann, who claims Weinstein raped her in 2013.

US, Taliban Agree to Week-Long Truce in Afghanistan

If truce holds, peace deal could be finalized on February 29

The long expected “reduction in violence” between the US and the Taliban was finalized, sign and put into effect on Friday at midnight. The deal will last seven days, and could be immediately followed by the Afghanistan peace deal.

Taliban officials are suggesting that if all is well, the final peace deal would be signed on February 29, Pompeo confirmed the date, but US officials aren’t confirmed the specifics of this plan.

On the other hand, it is being reported that if the peace plan is signed, the Taliban and Afghan government would enter into their own power-sharing talks in the 10 days that follow. This may be difficult with Afghanistan still dealing with a contested election outcome.

For many months, all indications are that the peace deal itself is fairly simple. The Taliban wants all foreign troops out of the country, and the US wants assurances that the Taliban will keep ISIS and al-Qaeda out of the country. Beyond that, the Taliban is expected to work out deals with the US-backed government, whatever that turns out to be.

Shocking Study Shows Police Chases Over Minor Crimes Kill Thousands of Innocent Bystanders

We’ve long known police officers shoot and kill on average about 1,000 citizens in the U.S. every year for a variety of reasons, none of which seem take place in other parts of the world. But we were shocked to learn just how many motorists and innocent bystanders are killed by cops every year when officers give chase to suspects. The numbers are quite staggering.

According to a recently published research study by the Fine Law Firm and 1Point21 Interactive, over 2,000 citizens over a four-year period were killed by cops as police were chasing suspect vehicles. Surprisingly, more than half of those killed were not the suspects!

An analysis by the Fine Law Firm and 1Point21 Interactive found that there were 1,699 fatal crashes involving police chases from 2014-2018, killing at least 2,005 people – 1,123 were not the driver of the fleeing vehicle.

That number might be much higher because, just as with officer-involved shootings, those killed-by-cop statistics are not required to be reported to any federal government database anywhere. Currently, officer-involved shooting deaths are only voluntarily reported to the FBI.

We spoke to Brian Beltz, Research Lead at 1Point21 Interactive via email, who tells TFTP that this study hits home as he knew someone who died from a police chase.

This issue has been pretty close to my heart for several years. One of my best friends lost his father in a collision with a vehicle fleeing the police. He was simply driving through an intersection and was t-boned by the fleeing driver. While I can’t say whether or not the chase was justified, being in the position to examine the data and be involved in the study was cathartic in a way. Hopefully, people see the results and it helps make sure that every department has and follows appropriate policies and training on how and when to chase suspects. I also hope it makes people who are stopped for non-violent and traffic offenses think twice about running. It puts innocent people’s lives in jeopardy.

We also spoke to David Fine, attorney at Fine Law Firm via email who points out that the chases are almost never worth it.

The study cuts to a core risk-benefit analysis that underlies policing and police misconduct litigation. The touchstone question for assessing police conduct is reasonableness-under-the-circumstances. On balance, the apprehension of a criminal suspect ceases to be reasonable if it poses a substantial risk of injury to the traveling public. Because they are a window into how police departments assess public safety risks, pursuit cases provide important insights into the legal and cultural health of police departments.

The recently published statistics also seem to line up with a USA Today study which encountered similar findings in 2015. According to TFTP’s Matt Agorist:

To put this into perspective, that’s larger than the number of people killed by floods, tornadoes, lightning and hurricanes — combined…According to the report, more than 5,000 bystanders and passengers have been killed in police car chases since 1979…Aside from the 5,000 completely innocent lives lost, an additional 6,300 fleeing ‘suspects’ were also killed, bringing the total to 11,506 dead since 1979.

Empowered Trump Loyalist Asks for List of Never Trumpers in the President’s Cabinet

John McEntee, the new head of President Donald Trump’s Presidential Personnel Office (PPO), asked White House staff to list “anti-Trump” political appointees in the administration.

McEntee met with White House cabinet liaisons on Thursday to request a list, according to three sources familiar with the meeting who spoke to Axios reporter Jonathan Swan.

Trump enters the next phase of his presidency determined to root out disloyalty in the administration, and McEntee’s return demonstrates his commitment to the task.

McEntee is now in charge of political appointments to the administration, and the president has empowered him to remove the Trump appointees who are blocking his agenda and even working against him.

Fired and escorted off the premises at the command of former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly in 2018, McEntee, Trump’s former body man, has returned to the Trump White House as the head of the PPO.

IT NEVER ENDS: Schiff Tweets Subtle Impeachment Threat About Trump

It seems as if after the Republican-controlled Senate voted to acquit President Donald Trump on both articles of impeachment earlier this month, Democrats immediately began looking for their next “Get Trump” strategy

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff took to Twitter on Thursday soon after Trump weighed in on the sentencing in the Roger Stone case.

Schiff seemed to issue a not-so-subtle impeachment threat after Trump didn’t shut the door on a potential pardon for Stone, who was sentenced on Thursday to 40 months in prison regarding charges levied against him by ex-Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

According to Daily Caller, Schiff tweeted that Stone was found guilty and sentenced because he “covered” for Trump. Schiff then claimed that Stone’s sentence was justified, while also warning that if Trump were to pardon Stone, it would be a “breathtaking act of corruption.”

“Roger Stone was found guilty of lying to Congress and threatening a witness. He did it to cover up for Trump. His sentence is justified. It should go without saying, but to pardon Stone when his crimes were committed to protect Trump would be a breathtaking act of corruption,” Schiff tweeted.

This seems to suggest that Schiff is warning Trump that he could face another round of impeachment inquiries if he gives the green light to pardon Stone.

The president, of course, has the Constitutional authority to issue a pardon to Stone if he wants to.

Controversy erupted at the Department of Justice earlier this month when all four prosecutors on Stone’s case abruptly resigned after the DOJ intervened to lighten Stone’s sentence.

Trump furious Americans infected with coronavirus flew back to US without his permission: report

President Trump was furious that 14 Americans infected with the coronavirus returned to the United States without his permission rather than remain in quarantine overseas, according to a new report.

Trump had been briefed that the healthy U.S. passengers who spent weeks quarantined aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan would be allowed to fly home on two chartered planes – while those who were sick or infected would stay in Japan to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

The president became "furious" with senior advisers after learning the 14 Americans who tested positive had been put on a plane with healthy passengers, according to The Washington Post. One official told the paper that the failure to inform Trump of the decision in advance of the plane's departure was a “big operational mistake.”

CORONAVIRUS CLAIMS LIVES OF 2 DIAMOND PRINCESS PASSENGERS FROM JAPAN, HEALTH OFFICIALS SAY

Trump complained that bringing home the infected Americans could damage the adminstratration's response to the global health outbreak.

While the Americans evacuated from the ship were on buses on the tarmac in Tokyo, U.S. officials got the results back that 14 had tested positive for COVID-19 but had not yet shown symptoms. Officials made the decision to have them fly home anyway, but “isolated” from the other passengers on the plane.

“These individuals were moved in the most expeditious and safe manner to a specialized containment area on the evacuation aircraft to isolate them in accordance with standard protocol,” the State Department and Department of Health and Human Services said in a joint statement Monday.

“After consultation with HHS officials … the State Department made the decision to allow the 14 individuals, who were in isolation, separated from other passengers, and continued to be asymptomatic, to remain on the aircraft to complete the evacuation process.”

The infected passengers were to be isolated for medical care upon arriving back in the United States.

“Every precaution to ensure proper isolation and community protection measures are being taken, driven by the most up-to-date risk assessments by U.S. health authorities,” State and HHS officials said.

The viral outbreak that began in China has now spread to nearly 78,000 people globally, including 76,288 in mainland China. Here are the latest figures for the number of people who have contracted COVID-19:

Big Tech Anticompetition Investigation: Google Balking At Document Demand

Attorneys general from 48 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam are involved in the investigation

Google objects to their use of outside consultants who have worked for Google's rivals

Google also wants to limit the attorneys general's access to information gathered by the Justice Department

Google reportedly has declined to turn over emails, text messages and other documents in an investigation of anticompetitive practices being led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday Google also has declined to sign a waiver that would allow Paxton and other attorneys general to access information gathered in a Justice Department investigation. The attorneys general for 48 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam are trying to determine if Google and other tech giants engaged in anticompetitive behavior.

“Every indication right now is they don’t believe that they’re clean because they don’t act in any way like they are,” Paxton told the Journal.

A spokeswoman for Google said the company’s concerns center on the attorneys general use of outside business consultants in its investigation and that the company already has provided “100,000 pages of information.”

“We’re … concerned with the irregular way this investigation is proceeding, including unusual arrangements with advisers who work with our competitors and vocal complainants,” the spokeswoman said.

“We have always acted in good faith in answering regulators’ questions promptly, honestly and thoroughly, providing millions of pages of documents over the years about our various businesses and technologies. Any suggestion to the contrary is simply false.”

Google filed suit Oct. 31 seeking to prevent the consultants from using whatever information they obtain improperly. Google noted one of the individuals worked “directly for numerous Google adversaries,” including Microsoft and New Corp., which owns the Journal. News Corp. has complained digital companies siphon ad revenue from content providers without providing adequate compensation while Microsoft and Google compete in such arenas as cloud services and productivity tools.

Google’s attorneys have raised questions about the scope of the Texas requests, saying they have gone beyond a civil subpoena issued in September. Investigators also want to talk to 96 employees while the company wants to limit the interviews to 11, the Journal said, citing letters exchanged between the two sides.

The Journal reported earlier this month the Justice Department has ramped up its investigation into Google, focusing on the company’s online ad tools, which give it the advantage in monetizing digital content.

Congress and the Federal Trade Commission also are looking at big tech firms with an eye toward whether they should be broken up.

Assange Has ‘Incontrovertible Evidence’ That Will Destroy Democrats Once & For All Suggests Rep Dana Rohrbacher

The announcement that Julian Assange’s formal extradition hearing is due to begin Monday has sent the Deep State protectors in the media into apoplectic overdrive.

Readers of this space know how crucial it is to the preservation of the corrupt construct within the intelligence community to maintain the silence of Julian Assange.

Assange’s Wikileaks was the source of the hacked DNC emails that the Deep State claimed was the foundation to begin the Russia hoax attacks and the surveillance of Donald Trump, first as a candidate and then as president.

Except that was never proven. There was a ‘murder’ but the weapon was reportedly never found… or more correctly, never examined by forensic experts. Why?

Why was the declaration by Crowdstrike, a DNC contractor, taken as gospel?

When President Trump asked for Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelenskyy’s help getting the DNC server from Crowdstrike, he was impeached by corrupt politicians looking out for their own self-interest. Why?

The Russia hoax has been completely debunked, except for one important point. An exclamation point… were the Russians even responsible for the hacked emails that Wikileaks made public?

When that answer is known, if it is ever known, and it is determined that Russia was not involved… Well, that’s when the entire lie of Trump-Russia collusion is exposed.

That’s when the plot orchestrated by corrupt Washington politicians, a corrupt intelligence community, and an equally corrupt media to subvert the Constitution and remove a duly elected president becomes known to a wide swath of Americans.

This is the danger this corrupt construct of politicians, spooks, and their narrative engineers, face if Assange is successfully extradited to the United States where he can testify.

Congressman Dana Rohrbacher, the only elected U.S. official to actually talk with Julian Assange, said this about what he learned from that face-to-face meeting:

Seth Rich was murdered. His murder was never solved… wonder why?

Julian Assange is the last witness with first hand knowledge of how the DNC emails came to Wikileaks… these are dangerous times for Assange…

EU summit a total fail, no deal

BRUSSELS (AP) — European Union leaders broke up a marathon budget summit without a deal Friday and their positions were still so far apart that they could not even decide when to meet again on the divisive issue.

After 28 hours of talks the leaders could not find a compromise, with a half dozen wealthy member states insisting they would not stump up more funds for the bloc’s next long-term spending package, worth around one trillion euros ($1.1 trillion).

“The differences were simply too big,” said German Chancellor Angela Merkel. “There is still a lot of work ahead of us.”

What’s at stake is whether leaders are ready to put their money where their mouths are when it comes to European policy ambitions. At the same time, amid poor economic growth, they cannot afford to give the impression to their home audiences that they are splashing out taxpayers’ cash.

“As my grandmother said, to succeed you have to try,” EU Council President Charles Michel said. It was not clear yet exactly when a new summit would be set.

“The work is going to have to continue in coming weeks and months,” said French President Emmanuel Macron. “There have been some improvements but they’re not good enough.”

Beyond the problems of reconciling rich and poorer member states, the departure of Britain at the beginning of the month, which was a high contributor to the EU coffers, also made things tougher.

“It’s a very difficult negotiation, especially after Brexit and the gap (of) between 60 and 75 billion euros,” said Michel.

The so-called “Frugal Four” of Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden, and a few others, believe the EU’s 2021-2027 budget, which is meant to fund ambitious climate change and digital economy policies, should amount to 1% of the 27-nation trading bloc’s gross national income.

On the other hand, many of the poorer member states and the European Parliament wanted to stick with a bigger budget of 1.3 percent.

“I can understand that when you’re a prime minister in a country that has poor regions, infrastructures, I can understand that … but when it comes to the percentage, I stand firm,” Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen told reporters in Brussels.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said: “There is a way to get out of this. But not tonight.”

The tussle over the seven-year budget is almost a tradition in the EU, with long meetings par for the course.

“In the past it was always such. We needed two or three summits. I am hopeful to get a new breakthrough next time,” said Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.

It is an issue though that cannot be pushed forward forever. Unlike national budgets, the EU’s spending plan cannot be temporarily rolled over based on the terms of the previous seven-year package. The budget’s legal basis would evaporate without an agreement.

From next year, funds to help poorer European regions would disappear and five countries that currently receive rebates — a return on their funds because they contribute more than they receive — would lose that money, and their contributions would “skyrocket,” EU officials say.

Agency Tasked With Solving L.A. Homeless Crisis Discovers 3,000 Apartments ‘It Didn’t Know About’

The agency tasked with housing the homeless in Los Angeles recently discovered 3,000 apartment units they claim were unbeknownst to them.

According to Curbed Los Angeles, a ballot measure passed in 2016 has enabled the construction of over 5,700 apartments to help solve the L.A. homeless crisis. The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), the agency tasked with housing people, has been working to ascertain exactly how many empty apartments already exist. Heid Marston, interim director of LAHSA, told city supervisors on Tuesday that the agency “had recently discovered thousands of units of permanent supportive housing, both in the form of physical homes and rental subsidies, that hadn’t previously been inventoried in its resource management system.”.

“We have 3,000 units… that we didn’t know about in our system,” Marston told reporters. “They weren’t known to us. We can’t fill units that we don’t know about.”

Though not all the units discovered were vacant, Marston said that an accurate account of those units will better equip the agency to house the homeless, many of whom require vital services like counseling and healthcare. It takes an average of 10 months for a person in need of such housing to sign a lease. Curbed Los Angeles provided more information on LAHSA’s alleged incompetency with solving the problem:

The agency has repeatedly come under fire for a sometimes disorganized response to rising levels of homelessness across LA County. Former director Peter Lynn stepped down in December, less than four months after the release of a scathing report from Los Angeles City Controller Ron Galperin criticizing LAHSA’s record-keeping and ability to meet its own housing and outreach goals.

Marston said that the agency began working with affordable developers in December to identify units and housing subsidies that might have been overlooked. In a statement, she said this was part of a “new approach” to “refine” the way that LAHSA gets people into housing.

Marston admitted to reporters that LAHSA experienced a rocky start after a 2017 ballot measure freed up hundreds of millions of dollars in funding. “It can’t be understated the amount of capacity it took for not only our data systems, but our providers, to build up to a point where we could figure out what a new normal was,” she said.

Syrian, Russian Airstrikes Destroy More Vehicles In Greater Idlib

Late on February 21, Syrian and Russian warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on Greater Idlib, targeting several vehicles in the northwestern region.

According to pro-government sources, at least nine vehicles, including many battle tanks, were destroyed between the towns of Mjdlya and Sarmin in southern Idlib. The vehicles were most likely supplied by Turkey to its proxies in the region.

Two days ago, the Turkish military and its proxies, including al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), launched a large-scale attack on SAA positions in the town of al-Nayrab in southern Idlib.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), backed by the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), repelled the attack within a few hours. Syrian and Russian strikes destroyed more than a dozen vehicles, including four M60 Sabra MK II battle tanks of the Turkish Armed Forces. A video of the strikes was released earlier.

Intense Syrian and Russian airstrikes are now targeting the southern Idlib countryside. Turkey and its proxies may be planning yet another attack on SAA positions in the region.

Syrian Army Warns Against Any Violation Of Country’s Airspace

The General Command of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) warned on February 22 that any violation of the country’s airspace will be dealt with as a “foreign military aggression.”

In an official statement, the army’s command said that orders have been given to the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) and the Syrian Arab Air Defense Forces (SyAADF) to repel any such aggression.

“Any aircraft that violates the Syrian airspace will be treated as a hostile military target that will not be allowed to fly over our airspace, it will be tracked at the moment of its discovery and we will work to destroy it once it penetrates our airspace,” the statement reads.

The SAA’s warning appears to be directed against Turkey, whose forces are amassing in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib.

Two days ago, Turkey and its proxies, including al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) launched a joint attack on SAA positions in southern Idlib. The army, supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS), repelled the attack within a few hours.

Despite sustaining catastrophic losses in their attack, Turkey and its proxies are now apparently preparing to launch an even larger attack. This time, however, Ankara may attempt to use its air force.

The Turkish Air Force (TAF) operates dozens of advanced f-16 fighter jets. However, the SyAADF maintains a tight grip over northwest Syria thanks to a network of air-defense systems around the region, including at least one S-300PMU2 battery deployed in Hama. The SyAAF could also provide support with its upgraded MiG-29SM warplanes.

A Turkish aerial attack on SAA positions in northwest Syria could provide Ankara’s proxies with the support they need to advance again. However, such a move will for sure come with a very high risk. A battle in the sky could ignite a full-scale war between Turkey and Syria.

Two Sets Of Rules: DIA Employee Charged With Leaking While FBI Leakers Walk Away

The Justice Department announced Thursday that an employee of the DIA pleaded guilty to leaking classified national defense information to two journalists in 2018 and 2019, which could land him in prison for a maximum of ten years.

Leaking classified information is, of course, against the law – that is, unless you are former FBI Director James Comey or former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. There are others too, for example a former deputy assistant director of the FBI’s international operations division, who also was called out by the DOJ’s Inspector General for allegedly leaking to reporters and accepting gifts from the media, as reported in The Washington Examiner.

Further, FBI officials altered Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant applications to spy on Carter Page, a U.S. citizen, who happened to be a volunteer for President Donald Trump’s campaign. Now, years later, after multiple investigations it was discovered that those same FBI officials, Comey and McCabe, among others, signed off on the phony warrants.

Still, senior government officials in the FBI – as well as other agencies – have escaped prosecution for leaking classified information and or lying under oath. Others have not been so lucky.

Defense Intelligence Agency employee Henry Kyle Frese is one of the unlucky leakers. Frese, a 31-year-old resident of Alexandria, Virginia, is expected to be sentenced on June 18.

Frese “was entrusted with Top Secret information related to the national defense of our country. Frese violated that trust, the oath he swore to uphold, and engaged in felonious conduct at the expense of our country. This case should serve as a clear reminder to all of those similarly entrusted with National Defense Information that unilaterally disclosing such information for personal gain, or that of others, is not selfless or heroic, it is criminal,” ” said G. Zachary Terwilliger, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Robert Wells, Acting Assistant Director of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division said “Frese violated his sworn oath to protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States by using his access to the United States’ most sensitive information and steal state secrets for nothing more than personal gain. The men and women of the FBI who investigated this case swore the same oath but unlike Mr. Frese, they chose to uphold it. I am proud of the work they did to hold Mr. Frese accountable for his actions.”

There is no argument that Frese should pay the price for leaking classified national security information to the press but what does it say when the DOJ refuses to prosecute former senior FBI officials, who were referred for prosecution on similar grounds. What does it say when leadership within the FBI, like Comey, sets a precedent that leaking for personal convictions won’t land you in prison. Couldn’t Frese argue that same point?

Over the past three years it appears there is one set of rules for those with friends in high places and another set of rules for those without. Last year, nearly half a dozen federal employees with the “FBI, DEA, a U.S. attorney and U.S. marshal officials were allowed to retire, do volunteer work, or keep their jobs as they escaped criminal charges that everyday Americans probably would not,” as previously reported at The Hill.

Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers said Thursday that “Frese violated the trust placed in him by the American people when he disclosed sensitive national security information for personal gain.”

Isn’t that what former FBI Director Comey did when he leaked his memos to his lawyers – actually his friends – to turn over to the New York Times with the sole purpose of getting the DOJ to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate President Donald Trump. The information, however, regarding Trump was all based on disinformation that the FBI, led by Comey, knew had never been verified.

Horowitz’s report on Comey was scathing and he referred the former director of the bureau to the DOJ for criminal prosecution, however, the Justice Department declined prosecution.

Practice of Meditation Correlated with Specific Changes in the Brain

A new study conducted at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca shows that the subjective feeling of well-being experienced by many people with the practice of meditation is correlated with specific changes in the brain.

The research, which appeared in Brain and Cognition, examined the effects of the technique known as Transcendental Meditation (TM), which consists in the silent repetition of a meaningless sound, a “mantra”.

For the study, conducted at the Molecular Mind Laboratory (MoMiLab) of IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, the researchers enrolled 34 healthy young volunteers and divided them in two groups. The first one practiced Transcendental Meditation 40 minutes per day in two sessions of 20 minutes each, one in the morning and the other in the evening; the second group did not change its daily routine.

At the beginning of the study, the researchers also measured through psychometric questionnaires the anxiety and stress level of all the participants, as well as their ability to manage stressful situations. Each individual was also subjected to a functional magnetic resonance imaging test (fMRI), in order to measure brain activity at rest and changes in the functional connectivity among different cerebral areas. After three months, at the end of the study, the same tests were repeated.

The analysis of the data clearly showed that levels of anxiety and stress perceived by the subjects who followed the meditation program were significantly reduced in comparison with those of the volunteers who did not practice TM. “Magnetic resonance imaging also shows that the reduction of anxiety levels is associated with specific changes in the connectivity between different cerebral areas, such as precuneus, left parietal lobe and insula, which all have an important role in the modulation of emotions and inner states”, explains Giulia Avvenuti, a PhD fellow at IMT School and first author of the study. “In the control group, instead, none of these changes was observed”. “The fact that Transcendental Meditation has measurable effects on the ‘dialogue’ between brain structures involved in the modulation of affective states opens new perspectives for the understanding of brain-mind relationships” says Pietro Pietrini, IMT School’s Director and coordinator of the study. “It also extends the results of recent research suggesting that drugs therapies and psychotherapy leverage on the same biological mechanism”.

Transcendental Meditation has recently gained an increasing success worldwide as a relaxation practice also thanks to the David Lynch Foundation, which co-financed the study along with the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca. Founded in 2005 by the movie director David Lynch, who is himself a longtime practitioner and supporter of the social value of Transcendental Meditation, the David Lynch Foundation promotes TM practice as an approach to reduce stress in schools (as for the ‘Quiet Time-Meditate Lucca’ project at the Pertini High School) and workplaces, and to build resilience in victims of trauma.

“I am very happy of the results of this study that used the latest technology to show the beautiful benefits for the human beings of TM. Now I’m working to form my foundation also in Italy, with teachers who teach transcendental meditation in schools, work places and other groups, reaching as many people as possible” says David Lynch.

This new study, coherently with previous ones, shows that even a few months of practice of Transcendental Meditation have positive effects on psychological well-being and that these effects are correlated with measurable changes in the brain.

UPDATE: Murdered Whistleblower Philip Haney Spoke Out Against Muslim Brotherhood’s Infiltration of US Government in October – Spoke Out Against CAIR

DHS whistleblower Philip Haney was found dead on Friday.

The whistleblower against the Obama administration was shot dead near his vehicle in California.

Haney told Sean Hannity in 2016 that he was ordered during the Obama administration to scrub the record of Muslims in the US with terrorist ties.

The story of his death has still not hit the mainstream media.

The Gateway Pundit was notified of his death last night.

Haney had been missing since Wednesday.

Phil Haney spoke out against CAIR in an interview in October with Barry Nussbaum on American Truth Project.

Philip Haney spoke out against the Muslim Brotherhood’s infiltration of the US government back in October.

Haney was also an outspoken critic of CAIR (the Council for American-Islamic Relations).

From the October interview:

Philip Haney: CAIR is the acronym for the Council on American Islamic Relations. It’s probably the best known Muslim organization in the country, but unfortunately, it’s also connected, irrefutably proven to be connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. Now, the Muslim Brotherhood has been already designated in several countries around the world, including Middle Eastern countries, and they should know as a terrorist organization, as a front group up to and including Hamas, which we know as a designated terrorist group itself. Now, the Muslim Brotherhood was founded in 1928 as an Islamic revival organization, and its goal is to implement a caliphate, a Sharia-based form of government around the whole world. They’re not shy about saying so, and we’re not immune to it, which brings us to where we are today. We’ve been continuing to track this group and other ones that are part of the Muslim Brotherhood. And I have to say with great distress that if anything, they’re more woven into the fabric of different branches of our government today, 2019 October than they were when I was still active duty within DHS. And yeah, that does seem like a bold statement. It seems like it ought to be impossible, but I think that’s what we’re going to go over today.

Barry Nussbaum: So I get it. And let’s talk specifics. So why in the world Phil with the FBI, the premier law enforcement agency in the world, and certainly our number one national police force whose mission it is to protect us internally within the boundaries of the United States what the heck is the FBI doing in bed with CAIR?

Philip Haney: Well, first of all, let’s make sure to make the point that they are. This isn’t something that started years ago and was taken care of. I’m talking just in the last week or two. CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood front groups have been meeting by invitation from the Department of Homeland Security and/or branches within the U.S. State Department to help implement and develop policy here in the United States. And before I forget it, I should mention that the new focus of the Department of Homeland Security has just released in their new twenty nineteen strategic documents, about 20 to 40 pages, is a focus on white supremacy, not so much Islamic terrorism. Now a new shift into a new arena, white supremacy. And that brings us to the relationship with CAIR. They have now asked groups like CAIR and the Muslim Public Affairs Council and the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations all part of the Muslim Brotherhood to come and help them implement this new policy of focus on white supremacy.
