The work in FL is actually a mile north and is public beaches. The company has a brief window to do the beach sand work before the sea turtle nesting season in late spring. That beach suffered from '16-'17 hurricane season. Then they will return to Fire Island to finish the Sandy 2012 work before their June deadline. The company, Weeks Dredging, made a responsible decission.
