For a socialist, Sen. Bernie Sanders is doing pretty darn well. He’s a millionaire, he’s got three houses (including a lakefront home with an acre of frontage), and he loves his private jets.

Oh, but don’t ever — ever — ask Bernie about his 1 Percent status.

On Saturday, a woman tried to do just that — and she got forcibly removed from a campaign event in San Antonio, Texas.

The woman — who was wearing a Trump shirt — shouted repeatedly at Sanders about his jet travel, even as he droned on about climate change (Sanders supports a policy being pushed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called the “Green New Deal,” which would cost an estimated $93 trillion over 10 years).

MSNBC’s Matthews Faces Calls To Resign After Comparing Sanders Victory To Nazi Invasion

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is being called on to resign from his nightly hosting gig after comparing Sen. Bernie Sanders’s win in the Nevada caucuses to the Nazi invasion of France in 1940.

“I was reading last night about the fall of France in the summer of 1940,” Matthews said during MSNBC’s live coverage of the caucuses on Saturday. “And the general, Reynaud, calls up Churchill and says, ‘It’s over.’ And Churchill says, ‘How can that be? You’ve got the greatest army in Europe. How can it be over?’ He said, ‘It’s over.'”

Greyhound will no longer allow immigration checks on buses

Greyhound announced Friday it will no longer allow Border Patrol agents without a warrant to board its buses and check the immigration status of travelers.

The decision came after a leaked Border Patrol memo contradicted claims by Greyhound that the company didn’t have a choice and was compelled by federal law to allow the checks.

The company said in a statement it would inform the Department of Homeland Security that it does not consent to unwarranted searches on its buses or in areas of terminals that are not open to the public.

The company said its drivers and bus station workers would be given new training regarding the new policy and that it would place stickers on all its buses clearly stating that it does not consent to the searches.

“Our primary concern is the safety of our customers and team members, and we are confident these changes will lead to an improved experience for all parties involved,” the statement said.

Trump Says Ready to Put His Name on US-Taliban Peace Deal

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - US President Donald Trump said Sunday he would put his name on the peace deal with the Taliban if a week went by without major violence in Afghanistan.

"I want to see how this period of a week works out… Assuming it works out over the next less-than-a-week, I would put my name on it," the president told reporters outside the White House.

Trump, who headed out to India on Sunday, said the nonviolence period had been holding up. He said that 19 years after the US sent troops to Afghanistan it was time to go home and suggested that the Taliban were tired of fighting.

US and Taliban negotiators agreed this week to finalize the pact on 29 February if a seven-day cooling-off period were observed. The truce took effect on Friday night.
