So GOD divorced Israel for their Idolatry. He's married to his church, the believers.

Matthew 19: 9 is speaking NOT just about physical fornication only, also Spiritual fornication.

Serving another god, Baal, Astarte, Moloch is spiritual fornication/infidelity and Jehovah GOD was right to divorce Israel.
