Interesting to scroll through the dates and pace over two years. What’s frustrating a bit is that the redness in the visual display kinda shows general number of cases in that state, but Wyoming is sparse compared to the shear numbers of people in Texas. However what’s not shown in the map but can be read in the scroll below, is the ratio of sealed, vs unsealed vs. not sealed. THAT might say a bit more about the different states differing approach to using this in criminal investigation, or the nature of crimes needing this technique.
Thank you for that, I was incorrectly thinking that States themselves were working on this. I can see a high concentration in eastern Virginia (think beltway corruption) but what the heck in going on in places like New Mexico and North Dakota?
Not being State cases, but does the ratio reflect something about the geographic relation to the crimes?
