Devin Nunes and House Republicans Announce Possible Criminal Charges Against Crooked Mueller Attorneys

Earlier this month Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) went on with Lou Dobbs and dropped a bombshell.

The California representative told Dobbs that corruption of Mueller attorneys will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Rep. Devin Nunes: Let me tell you something else… The lawyers who stepped down today the prosecutors who suggested 7 to 9 for Roger Stone. We believe that this is not going to be the only example.

We believe there is other examples of things they did during the Mueller investigation that I think you and your listeners and the American people will be very interested to learn in the coming weeks. As we start to unpeel the onion of what the Mueller team was really doing. Because I would say this, when Mueller was appointed we have to ask ourselves, he walks in the door the first day and he said, “OK, show me all the evidence you got on the Russians?” They’re like, “Bob, sorry we don’t have any Russians here. We don’t have any evidence.” So what the hell did they do for two years? They set up an obstruction of justice trap. And they went after a whole lot of people who have now got sentenced. Some already served their time. And I think all of this has to be called into question now.

On Monday Devin Nunes told John Solomon at Just The News that his team has found GLARING EVIDENCE that contradicts claims the Mueller team of angry Democrats to the courts and what they said to Congress.

Just The News reported:

Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, told Just the News that his team has been scouring recent documents released by the FBI, including witness reports known as 302s, and found glaring evidence that contradicts claims the Mueller team made to courts and Congress.

“We’re now going through these 302s, and we’re going to be making criminal referrals on the Mueller dossier team, the people that put this Mueller report together,” Nunes said during an interview on the John Solomon Reports podcast set to air on Tuesday.

Nunes specifically reacted to a story in Just the News disclosing that FBI interview memos of key figure George Papadopoulos show he was helpful in trying to locate a witness named Joseph Mifsud but that Mueller’s prosecutors portrayed Papdopoulos as trying to thwart or frustrate the investigation’s efforts to question Mifsud.

The new FBI memos provide “our first evidence of the Mueller team lying to the court. It a lie. It’s a total lie,” the lawmaker said, referring to the Mueller team’s claim that Papadopoulos tried to hinder efforts to locate and question Mifsud.

Developing: Judge Sets 2 PM Tuesday Hearing in Roger Stone Case – Motion For a New Trial

Corrupt Judge Amy Berman Jackson ordered a hearing on Tuesday at 2 PM in the Roger Stone case.

The hardcore leftist will discuss Stone’s request seeking a new trial.

Politico reported:

A judge has scheduled a pair of hearings for Tuesday in longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone’s criminal case, as she considers how to resolve a motion Stone’s defense filed seeking a new trial based on alleged misconduct by one of the jurors in his case.

U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who sentenced Stone last week to more than three years in prison for impeding official investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential race, said in a brief order Monday that she plans to take up the juror-focused motion behind closed doors in her Washington courtroom at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Docket Text:

MINUTE ORDER. It is ORDERED that on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. the Court will hold a sealed hearing on defendant’s currently sealed amended motion for a new trial [313], and at 1:30, it will hold a public hearing on defendant’s sealed motion [332] to open the 2:00 p.m. hearing, and the underlying pleadings, to the public. Over 3,600 Law Enforcement Agencies Across The US Were Given ICE Detainers

A total of 3,671 law enforcement agencies across the U.S. received a detainer request from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in fiscal year 2019, indicating how many requests the agency lodges a year.

Submitting immigration detainers is an integral part of ICE’s operations, but an increasing number of states and localities are refusing to honor them, passing sanctuary laws that forbid cooperation.

A spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) noted how imperative it is for local and state authorities to recognize the role they play in immigration enforcement.

More than 3,600 law enforcement agencies across the U.S. were handed detainers from Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the last fiscal year, indicating how necessary local and state cooperation is for federal immigration authorities.

ICE sent immigration detainers to a total of 3,671 different law enforcement agencies during the 2019 fiscal year, according to data the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University released Monday. The total is slightly down from the previous fiscal year, and a breakdown of the data reveals that a vast majority of these agencies receive fewer than two detainers requests a week.

An ICE detainer is a request to temporarily hold an individual in order for a federal immigration officer to arrive and assume custody of that individual. In this case, these detainers are in reference to criminal illegal aliens who have landed in local or state custody for an unrelated crime and have caught the attention of ICE officers.

A county sheriff, for example, could arrest an illegal alien for a DUI. That individual’s arrest would then prompt ICE to lodge a detainer request with the sheriff’s office, asking it to hold the alien long enough for an officer to arrive and make an apprehension.

ICE lodged a total of 165,487 detainers in fiscal year 2019, according to data the agency provided. The information TRAC released reveals that detainers were spread to a total of 3,671 law enforcement agencies across 2,158 counties — encompassing every state in the country.

The data indicate how integral local and state cooperation is for federal immigration authorities, which count on these law enforcement agencies to transfer custody of many illegal aliens.

“It is imperative to recognize the role local and state law enforcement plays in immigration enforcement. It is local law enforcement that is most likely to come in contact with criminal aliens in their own communities,” Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) spokesperson Matthew Tragesser told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Without full cooperation from these officials, there is the risk of a dangerous criminal illegal alien being released back into a local community and then committing additional crimes,” he continued.

Largely as a backlash to the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration, an increasing number of localities are, in fact, refusing to work with ICE.

Israel’s Netanyahu threatens Gaza with ALL-OUT WAR if missile attacks continue

Israel will stop at nothing to ensure its security and may well launch a broad military campaign against Gaza if the local armed groups continue with missile strikes, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

Air raid sirens were heard across southern Israel for the second straight day on Monday. The IDF said that some 50 rockets were fired from Gaza at Israeli territory, with 90 percent of them intercepted.

The missile strikes were met with a harsh response, with the Israeli Defense Forces confirming on Twitter that multiple strikes against targets in Gaza have been carried out.

“We are now hitting with planes, tanks, and helicopters,” Netanyahu announced as he visited an Iron Dome air defense system battery in the Ashdod area. He also added a special message for the leaders of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) militants.

“If the quiet doesn't return, you're next.”

Speaking later in the day at the Israeli settlement of Ariel in the West Bank, Netanyahu added more threats.

“I don’t plan to let up… Beyond the hard strikes on our enemies, Hamas and Islamic Jihad need to understand – this [missile attack against Israel] won’t continue. If they do not completely stop, we will have to activate the plan we prepared for a broad campaign.”

Netanyahu said he was well aware of the price that IDF troops - who are conscripts - and their families would pay in such a campaign.

“I am not rushing into war,” the PM said, but if Israel is forced to launch a major offensive, “woe to Hamas and Islamic Jihad when that day comes!! It’s their choice.”

Netanyahu stressed his threats were not empty words, and that he would “do what it takes” to restore security for the people in southern Israel.

Islamic Jihad said late on Monday that its "military response" to Israel has been completed, at least for now. The rocket barrage came after videos emerged online of the IDF using a bulldozer to bury the body of a Palestinian man, killed as he allegedly tried to place a bomb at the border fence in the Gazan town of Khan Yunis.

Israeli reprisal strikes targeted not only Gaza, but also the “terror sites belonging to the PIJ terror group south of Damascus in Syria,” according to the IDF. However, most of the Israeli missiles were intercepted by Syrian air defenses

US wargames in South Korea might be scaled back over coronavirus fears – or lack of funding deal with Seoul

News that US and South Korea are considering downsizing combined military drills – ostensibly due to coronavirus concerns – comes as the Pentagon is trying to twist Seoul’s arm into paying billions for upkeep of US garrisons.

US Defense Secretary Mark Esper made a comment about coronavirus figuring into considerations about the drills at the press conference following a meeting at the Pentagon with his South Korean counterpart Jeong Kyeong-doo.

Looming over the possible downsizing, however, is the unresolved issue of funding for US troops in South Korea. Seoul currently contributes just under $1 billion for upkeep of US troops, which have been garrisoned on South Korean soil since the 1953 armistice. At President Donald Trump’s insistence, the Pentagon has pushed for that amount to increase, reportedly to around $5 billion – a deal Seoul is apparently finding hard to swallow.

“Shouldering the cost of our common defense cannot fall disproportionately to the American taxpayer,” Esper said at the Monday evening press conference, arguing for a “more sustainable and equitable means of sharing” it.

As “a global economic powerhouse and an equal partner in the preservation of peace on the peninsula,” Esper added, “South Korea can and should contribute more to its defense."

The $5 billion number would be more in league with what was reported last year, when Trump was said to demand a “cost plus 50” percent renegotiation of basing agreements with allies like South Korea, Germany and Japan. The White House has denied those reports, however.

None of that is to say that coronavirus is not a legitimate concern for the Pentagon. South Korea is second in the world after China for the number of COVID-19 infections – 800 confirmed cases and eight deaths, as of Monday. At least a dozen members of the military have been diagnosed. The Korean defense ministry even shut down its briefing room on Tuesday, after a local news camera operator was admitted to a hospital with symptoms.
