His bit on coronavirus was interesting. He specifically looked at our reporters when he said "expelling our reporters" and praised the efforts of citizen journalism, while encouraging those specific governments (Iran, China) to tell the truth about the virus.

The virus is real.
The virus was manufactured.
The hype around the virus is also manufactured.
Pompeo was specifically pointing out that this all happened after our journalists were expelled. The way they waged this was keen, but anons are seeing through it.
"It's always important that we get good information, that there's free press everywhere, um, but it's especially essential at this time where the data and information matter because they provide, um, things that go beyond anecdote so that we can respond in a way that meets the actual threat; not based on anecdote and rumor".

Assange lost control over the WL medium, and that's why he panicked. He realized, at that point, the DS was setting him up to take the fall, and they were going to take him out in the process.
He got "lucky" when he finally reached out to @realDonaldTrump for a deal. Hell, @realDonaldTrump may have even reached out to him to coordinate what to do from that point forward.
