In addition, we know that his testimony about where he got the DNC stuff (and other matters) could be powerful. In the best of all worlds, one of the following happens. 1. He is released in the UK, free, without extradition, then gives a deposition to the US DOJ regarding his knowledge. 2. The extradition brouhaha is just for show, he will be brought here and do what good he may, then be released under a heretofore unknown agreement, or via pardon. On the other hand, it is possible that he did enough damage in security matters that he should in fact be punished. All this is murky.
