Cincinnati City Councilwoman Tamaya Dennard was arrested by the FBI this morning, according to several published reports.

FBI Special Agent James Howley, who was handling FBI media calls Tuesday morning, declined to comment.

Dennard was expected at a City Hall committee meeting she was set to chair at 11 a.m. but did not show up. She did not alert anyone of whereabouts, which is the typical protocol when skipping meetings. The meeting was canceled.
