SO when nothing else made sense about why our cartel head ie narcoterrorist in chief has been "off limits" since 2005 IE immune to law enforcement action with his trafficking etc somebody suggested he might be in witness protection and free to run his criminal cartel in east Texas on the taxpayer dime as well… Regardless of the effects on his immediate community and those far flung areas his reach encompasses.

Would also explain all the cops and official looking goobers that seem to pay homage to the Mexican 'godfather.'

Legalized crime.

After all the majority of witsec participants are Criminals!

Well played deep state.

From wiki:

According to Gerald Shur, the person who created the federal program, about 95% of witnesses in the program are "criminals". They may be intentional criminals, or people who are doing business with criminals, such as one engineer who bought off a mayor "'because that's how you do business in the city.' In his mind, he wasn't doing anything criminal," as Shur said. A witness who agrees to testify for the prosecution is generally eligible to join the program, which is entirely voluntary. Witnesses are permitted to leave the program and return to their original identities at any time, although this is always discouraged by administrators.[10]

As of 2019, 18,900 witnesses and family members have been protected by the U.S. Marshals Service since 1971.[9]
