This anon makes good points, actually. We still have officials in power who are following bad agendas. Pres. Trump still hasn't gotten rid of all bad advisers. I've seen a few decisions come out that did not seem to be in our best interests. (Most are good, though.) As with anyone, don't get so locked in fandom that you refuse to see what's real. And I do believe that Pres. Trump himself would tell you this.
The only way Pres. Trump can have this under control is if he really does have a time machine (as some say he does -- Looking Glass or something similar) and he can see the end of this or has a way to change the beginning of it and converge that timeline back in.
