Virus is no problemo?

It's just the flu?

Fearporn?

Time will tell won't it?

Meanwhile… "Just in time" supply chains from overseas can be a bitch.

“I don’t think the Amazon platform has seen such a massive amount of inventory problems as we are about to see,” said Patrick Maioho, who… advises others on manufacturing in China.

A side-effect of the COVID2019 outbreak: it exposes how supply chains are dependent on China.

"To avoid penalty by Amazon’s algorithm, which demotes out-of-stock products, thousands of sellers who built businesses using China’s cheap and efficient manufacturers are raising prices to slow sales, while shifting production elsewhere."

But in the mean time I will maintain my survivorship bias and other preparations for the storm.

I'm old enough to remember when survivorship bias was the normal way Americans lived.

Now, some don't even know what is a stocked pantry.

Can you ride it out if disruptions last weeks, months or years?

Or will you be one of those desperately unprepared sick people trying to kill your neighbor so you can eat?
