Medicalanon here. Most EMR are in real time. Some still use an off-site transcription but more often a scribe is sitting in the office, or the doctor enters in real time, the visit info. There was a huge push some years back to get especially old-time doctors to switch from paper records. Some were penalized. Some retired rather than switch.
It was ok for me.
All these actors are, are very good liars, able to convince you they’re someone they aren’t. After a lifetime of putting their brain in another body (relatively speaking), no wonder they’re broken.
They probably do.. some places enable you to sign a waiver for privacy but yes, they share data. It’s scary.
