I hold this Prayer above all others but I've always had problems with this verse. It should read "Give us the strength to resist temptation" instead. We have Free Will and no one should have the power to lead us anywhere. Even Him according to Him. Isn't that the real test here? Choice of being "of service" more than we are "of self"?
