317 nominations for this year's Nobel Peace Prize

Stockholm (dpa) - Over 300 nominations have been made for the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize, the Norway-based award committee said on Wednesday.

The total of 317 candidates comprised 210 individuals and 107 organizations, the Nobel Committee said.

The Oslo-based committee said it was the fourth highest number of candidates ever.
