"always question authority"?
well, I know that is a hyperbolic statement.
there are caveots to that, so it 'sounds good' and it was an effective slogan for Marxist, they have you quoting it. But guess what 'question authority' isn't 'always'.
becuase when an authority is on duty, and charged with keeping the peace you don't question them then. That's called insollence. It's called interfering with the direction of a valid officer of the law.
so you added a modifier. It makes the phrase incorrect.
but also, the phrase has always been incomplete. Because it doesn't direct yo how to respond when authority is correct. the phrase, as marxists mean it is operationally conditioning you to 'badger authority.'
you've been brain washed into being a badger, and he didn't even know it.
