POTUS addressed this today. I know viruses, and this virus doesn't seem to be anything to worry about–any more so than the "flu" virus or common cold virus. Reported fatality rate is low; rate of spread is low. It's bound to spread in the U.S. because these things are almost impossible to stop. I believe that it will be a virus that wipes most of us out, but this one isn't it. Unless we find out that it suppresses the immune system or causes cancer or something, which will take some years to find out.
