I've tried for a good hour to ID the painting in the second image

and I have failed. I looked at so many winter scenes (Paris, London, Prague, Vienna, Berlin) and I could not make a match, using the three

elements I picked out. No luck with the signature either. Looked through a couple of screens of old postcards as well and, of course, got nowhere (see 5th image).

If anyone knows…? Please.

I didn't get any result trying to search for that USA Today headline.
