Well there is certainly enough evidence that proves the court system corrupt to the point of not being able to properly function.
Treason and sedition are federal crimes. I think they could be charged in civilian court. It gets kind of confusing with military charges for civilians, since there have been attempts to pass laws that label people 'enemy combatants' or 'belligerents', and I'm not sure what currently applies. I don't believe that designating the entire country as a 'battlefield' was successful. How this is done will be very interesting!
