The corporate thing reminds me of when I was a senior in high school. Some private company came to our HS and gave an audio-visual presentation. It was a MANDATORY attendance thing held in the auditorium. I guess I have always been paranoid about such things so I excused myself and went to the back of door of the auditorium and hung with some stoners who were having a cigarette. If anyone came around to confront us, the bathrooms were by the rear door. I think they did this thing the year before as well. Don’t remember what excuse this company had for doing this thing but I do recall they used a lot of images of pleasant things to try to get oohs and ahhs from the kids, with some narration and threw in some popular song music too. My thoughts were, What are you trying to accomplish with this?
Anyone else have a mandatory gathering in your school auditorium like that?
