The "They" term is something I've been trying to stop saying. Out of habit I'm trying to replace it every time I hear it come out of my own mouth just so I can keep my references fresh. I've been trying to say "who is them/they" when I hear my friends talk just so we won't generalize as much. It is started to work. We all are more careful to pinpoint our speech after we started this.
Just an exercise to consider for self improvement month.
