Live Updates: 33 Turkish Troops Killed by Airstrike in Syria's Idlib

The situation in the province escalated further after Turkish President Erdogan claimed that the developments in Idlib were unfolding in Turkey's favour, despite the deaths of three Turkish soldiers.

Some 33 Turkish soldiers have been killed as a result of an airstrike in the Syrian province of Idlib, Rahmi Dogan, the governor of the Hatay province, located close to the Turkish border with Syria, said.

Initially, Dogan said that the airstrike killed nine, adding that the injured were transported to Turkey.

After the incident, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan chaired an emergency security meeting on the current situation in Idlib, Anadolu Agency said.

The northwestern province of Syria has been tense since early February, as local militants intensified attacks against Syrian government forces. The Russian military has revealed that Ankara backed the militants in the area with artillery fire.

“During the flight, the aircraft was flying within the borders of Syria, which was registered by objective monitoring data,” the ministry said, adding that the aircraft was "supposedly shot down from the ground.”

The pilots managed to eject, the ministry said, adding their fate is as yet unknown.

The downing of the Russian plane is "a very serious incident,” said Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov. He added, however, that it is too early to draw conclusions until the whole situation is clear.

Footage has emerged online, allegedly showing Russian pilots from the downed jet immobile on the ground and surrounded by locals. Some reports claim that one pilot is dead.

=Military Experts at CPAC Warn China Is Trying to ‘Strangle Us’

Experts on China at a Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) panel on Thursday sounded the alarm about the Communist nation’s efforts to defeat the United States and without ever having to fire a shot.

The experts on the panel, hosted by the Committee on the Present Danger: China, warned that China is laying the groundwork to replace the U.S. as the world’s superpower, which will have profound implications for Americans.

China expert and author Gordon Chang said China is becoming more belligerent to the U.S. — not less — and is trying to lay the groundwork in China to blame the coronavirus on the United States.

China recently had a famous health expert — a “hero” of fighting the SARS epidemic — raise doubts in China Daily, a Chinese state-run media outlet, that the coronavirus originated in China.

The Chinese Communist government is “laying the theoretical foundation that the U.S. spread disease in their country,” Chang said.

Chang also laid out remarks and actions that Chinese leaders have made or the Chinese military has done that show hostility to the U.S., such as that China had the right to use force to settle trade disputes, directing blinding lasers at U.S. pilots in Djibouti, and conducting sonic attacks against American diplomats.

“Why do we maintain a cordial relationship with a regime that is harming Americans?” he asked.

Chang also mentioned a recent news report that said China plans to buy 1.4 million units of body armor, citing potential military conflicts with “Taiwan secessionists” and “U.S. provocations.”

Chinese President Xi Jinping is “warning us about what he wants to do,” Chang said. “We are in a war, and the enemy is the People’s Republic of China.”

Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Steven L. Kwast, who recently retired and speaks about the threat of China as a private citizen, said China is pursuing a strategy of seeking dominance while “trying not to awaken the great giant” — the U.S.

He said the plan is to steal U.S. intellectual property, duplicate the technology using their party system, flood the market with that technology, and dominate the market. He said the Chinese are trying to dominate all cutting edge technological markets, including telecommunications, drones, quantum computing, super-computing, and facial recognition software.

“They have stated openly they see our freedom as an existential threat to their survival over time,” he said.

He said if the China dominates 5G networks, through which all telecommunications will transmit, the U.S. could someday find itself in the position of not being able to counter lies and misinformation from China.

China is trying to “strangle us [so that] we go out with a whimper,” he said. Yet, he added, “We are going about our lives.”

Rep. Scott Perry, a retired Army brigadier general, said that China has already stolen the designs for the U.S.’s most expensive weapons systems, the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, as well as the C-17, and the F-22.

Sean Lin, a former U.S. Army Captain and Ph.D. with Hong Kong Goes On Foundation, said he witnessed firsthand the cruelty of China as a college student during the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre.

He said he witnessed Chinese tanks rolling over students’ heads and bodies. He said today, one only needed to look at the way Beijing is treating China’s Muslim Uyghurs in Xinjiang Province.

He said China was harvesting organs from them for profit. He said a million people dying in China is “just a number” to the government.

“Communist regime is the enemy of all humanity,” he said.

What Is The Deep State?

A new focus on the Deep State in undermining the national interests has become a serious thought for many citizens. Not known to many, the Deep State has its origin in the British Empire and how the Round Table infiltrated former British colonies (including India) through America.

Last year, fuel was added to this fire when internal memos were leaked from the British-run Integrity Initiative featuring a startling account of the techniques deployed by the anti-Russian British operation to infiltrate American intelligence institutions, think tanks and media.

The Integrity Initiative

For those who may not know, The Integrity Initiative is an anti-Russian propaganda outfit funded to the tune of $140 million by the British Foreign office. Throughout 2019, leaks have been released featuring documents dated to the early period of Trump’s election, demonstrating that this organization, already active across Europe promoting anti-Russian PR and smearing nationalist leaders such as Jeremy Corbyn, was intent on spreading deeply into the State Department and setting up “clusters” of anti-Trump operatives. The documents reveal high level meetings that Integrity Initiative Director Chris Donnelly had with former Trump Advisor Sebastien Gorka, McCain Foundation director Kurt Volker, Pentagon PR guru John Rendon among many others.

The exposure of the British hand behind the scenes affords us a unique glimpse into the real historical forces undermining America’s true constitutional tradition throughout the 20th century, as Mueller/the Five Eyes/Integrity Initiative are not new phenomena but actually follow a modus operandi set down for already more than a century. One of the biggest obstacles to seeing this modus operandi run by the British Empire is located in the belief in a mythology which has become embedded in the global psyche for over half a century and which we should do our best to free ourselves of.

Myth of the “American Empire”

While there has been a long-standing narrative promoted for over 70 years that the British Empire disappeared after World War II having been replaced by the “American Empire”, it is the furthest thing from the truth. America, as constitutionally represented by its greatest presidents (who can unfortunately be identified by their early deaths while serving in office), were never colonialist and were always in favor of reining in British Institutions at home while fighting British colonial thinking abroad.

Franklin Roosevelt’s thirteen year-long battle with the Deep State, which he referred to as the “economic royalists who should have left America in 1776″, was defined in clear terms by his patriotic Vice-President Henry Wallace who warned of the emergence of a new Anglo-American fascism in 1944 when he said:

“Fascism in the postwar inevitably will push steadily for Anglo-Saxon imperialism and eventually for war with Russia. Already American fascists are talking and writing about this conflict and using it as an excuse for their internal hatreds and intolerances toward certain races, creeds and classes.”

The fact is that already in 1944, a policy of Anglo-Saxon imperialism had been promoted subversively by British-run think tanks known as the Round Table Movement and Fabian Society, and the seeds had already been laid for the anti-Russian cold war by those British-run American fascists. It is not a coincidence that this fascist Cold War policy was announced in a March 5, 1946 speech in Fulton, Missouri by none other than Round Table-follower and the butcher of Bengal, Winston Churchill.

Controversial NSA Phone Surveillance Program Led To Exactly Zero Arrests

In yet more absurdity and confirmation that Edward Snowden was never an "enemy of the state" — as top intelligence officials and some congressional leaders have charged for years — it's been revealed that the latest National Security Agency (NSA) program to analyze logs of phone calls and text messages made by Americans was an utter failure and waste, yielding exactly zero arrests from 2015 to 2019, despite having swept up some trillion US phone records.

It cost taxpayers $100 million and was reported to produce a mass amount of redundant information, revealing information that the FBI didn't already know only twice, resulting in only one investigation which led to no charges. This according to a government watchdog group which briefed Congress last week on the matter, the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board (PCLOB).

The report in The Independent further said "The 2015 Act shifted responsibility for data collection from the government to telecommunications companies."

The end result of this practice, alarmingly, was that "In some cases they would send the agency more data than they were legally allowed to collect."

Mexican Cartel Lord’s Daughter Arrested During Brother’s Court Hearing in DC

The daughter of the fearsome leader of Mexico’s Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) is in U.S. custody facing money laundering charges following her arrest at a Washington, D.C. courthouse. The incident occurred while her brother was before a judge for separate charges.

On Wednesday, federal agents arrested Jessica Johanna “La Negra” Oseguera Gonzalez in Washington, a news release from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration stated. The daughter of Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera faces five federal charges for money laundering and providing material assistance to a cartel. Jessica Oseguera is accused of having business dealings with five companies that are listed in the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Kingpin List, which prohibits any U.S. citizen from engagement. Jessica Oseguera has a dual U.S.-Mexican citizenship and was therefore subject to the sanctions.

According to the DEA, a warrant was issued on February 13 accusing her of Kingpin connections. Jessica Oseguera was in D.C. to support her brother in his initial court appearance. Ruben Oseguera “El Menchito” Gonzalez, a top leader of the CJNG, vigorously fought extradition from a Mexican prison. This week, U.S. authorities flew Ruben to Washington for the criminal proceedings.

Currently, CJNG is led by Jessica and Ruben’s father, Nemesio, who is waging a fierce turf war with other cartels throughout Mexico. The push into other territories is dramatically spiking violence in areas that previously enjoyed a relative sense of peace.

1,155 Chinese Nationals Apprehended After Illegally Entering U.S. in FY2020

U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended 1,155 Chinese migrants this fiscal year after they illegally entered from Mexico, Canada, or coastal boundaries. More than 95 percent came over the southwestern border between October 1, 2019, and January 31, 2020.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials responded to an inquiry from Breitbart Texas and reported that Border Patrol agents apprehended 1,155 Chinese nationals who illegally crossed into the United States. Of those, 1,114 were apprehended after crossing between ports of entry in the nine Border Patrol sectors making up the southwestern border with Mexico. Of the remaining, 17 were apprehended after illegally crossing the Canadian border and 24 were apprehended along coastal boundaries.
