As ever, Rome has nothing to do with the bible.

Except trying to destroy all of them, of course, and murder all of the Christians it could.

So the Christians under Domitian tore their bibles into pieces and spread them around, so that the Emperor could not succeed in his life's goal of eradicting Christianity.

Rome is the enemy of Christianity.

Rome is Babylon.

Hey, pope, remember when your predecessor banned the crossbow?

Nothing but peace after that, amirite?

And yes, Mother Teresa was a monster, aggravating and isolating poor and dying people so she could vicariously reap their suffering.

A monster.
