You seem to be anti-science and you’re associating it with me, as if it were mine. It’s ours. It’s for humans to appreciate and improve quality of life. Human suffering has been in a permanent bear market since the Bible was written.

However, I’ve witnessed how humans mix up their tribal and religious beliefs and use that to hurt others in subtle and not so subtle ways. That isn’t okay with me. Ever see how a mafia thinks? They make fiction about quantum fields and voice boxes being removed to justify their hell threats. Then they ask if the poison ivy is still itching.
If you believe conception leads to eternal torture then I’ll argue that conception is immoral.
I would rather not exist if it meant preventing other beings from being born into this infinity you believe in and are preaching. That’s just me. Others are okay with heaven for themselves at the expense of others.
Ultimately it’s humans doing the procreating, bringing these poor babies into a cruel joke of eternal hell threats.
If I were a morally ambivalent alien designing a universe for a human for my amusement, this is exactly how I’d do it. Show them the reality of possible eternal torture to control them and see how they’ll handle being abused by religious people and apes with technology and so on.
I do believe in God. The smartest philosophers all concede this. The universe had to come from somewhere. The nature of God, however is a mystery as is the reality of the afterlife. We all get to find out upon death. Yet we form tribes and perpetuate primal instincts based on our personal beliefs, often with malicious results. And, we evolve these mechanisms according to the gaps in the ongoing domestication process, in fact engraining them with human created power disparity mechanisms. More tribal delusions.
I talk to God constantly, to Jesus. And I don’t like the way humans treat each other. We are apes. And we threaten each other. We find ways to hurt each other and to bully each other. We find ways to protect our little bubble of beliefs, within often arrogant presumptions of truth.

Infinite separation from light is the most horrifying thing. I see people wishing hell on others and it’s the most twisted thing. Yet when someone is wronged, they want justice.
I’ve seen followers of Jesus forgive a murderer who killed their kid. That’s enlightenment.
