It is not just Newsom, Californians keep electing some of the worst people to ever serve in government. Evidently, the majority of CA voters want bad people in government. And the sane people stay anyway.

Will be interested in your comments. Not a lawfag, but a lot of the decision scolded the lower court for even taking up the matter, since it was not a proper case or controversy to be acted on by the judiciary.
Hoping other appellate courts and SCOTUS will do a similar slapdowns of the ridiculous nationwide injunctions issued by district courts. Used to be that even federal appellate decisions were only "good law" in the circuit covered by that court. Now district courts think they can rule the entire country like monarchs from their little judge chairs.
