Lawfag here with comments on this weeks court win wherein DC appeals court held 2-1 that they would not enforce the house subpoenas against POTUS staff.
To be blunt – it stinks like a steaming pile – not to say I wont take the win but this decision is a perfect example of the pretzel logic that corrupt judges use to announce a pre-determined outcome
The majority opinion is a garble of complete bullshit nonsense and judicial punting of the issue at hand – the dissent is easy to read and understand as it is logical and correct. What does this mean? Hard to say except the fix was in – these 2 majority judges wrongly and blatantly avoided the issue like it was radioactive
Basically the majority ruled that there was no “case or controversy” and that the dispute was “political” and not suitable for the court to review. Then they carved out a hadful of things they were not deciding – splitting legal hairs in an absurd fashion.
WUT? It was a dispute over compliance with a subpoena! That is the classic and routine dispute handled in court every day. Read the decision anons - if you can – gives lawfag a headache trying to follow that bullshit – then skip forward to page 58 of the pdf read some of the dissent – see the difference for yourself – strange times we are in anons – very strange
Lawfag does not know how or why this happened – but fully expect this to be appealed so SCOTUS and lawfag very much doubts the outcome will be the same – time will tell
