Buch Mose, Kapitel 19, Vers 24 bis 26, in Wirklichkeit die Reportage eines Atomangriffs göttlicher Astronauten sei. Tatsächlich ist die Übereinstimmung zwischen der apokalyptischen Vision des Johannes und der Mose-Passage verblüffend. Der Markt für Okkultes ist da. Am Rande der verwalteten Welt bilden sich allenthalben Subkulturen der Mystik und der Mystifikation. "Allensbach" ermittelte, daß mehr als die Hälfte der Bundesbürger "außergewöhnliche Informationen über Gegenwärtiges und Zukünftiges" für möglich halte, und der Freiburger Parapsychologe Professor Hans Bender meint, daß die "Unsicherheit der Zeit" das Interesse an Okkultem fördere.
Freilich ist auch wahr, daß die Bücher Mose, vor allem aber die Johannes-Apokalypse zu allen Zeiten sensiblen Gemütern Anlaß zu prophetischen Visionen gegeben haben.
