When Einstein gave Niels Bohr's s theory of "Quantum Entanglement" the kiss of death by saying that he didn't believe in such "Spooky action at a distance", he gave the Cabal cover to censor all scientific news of the phenomenon while it continued the study and development of QE covertly.

It still pisses me off that Quantum Sciences are mostly missing from the curricula of every college and university. To be fair, Quantum Science renders the "scientific method" of study pretty much useless since it relies on "repeatability" of experiments. In Quantum Studies, factors such as the consciousness or thoughts of the scientist has been found to be a factor in the experiment outcome.

It comes down to hubris anon. As with UFOs, the experts and authorities are loathe to admit that they don't understand any given phenomenon and would rather gaslight the Nation about no ETs than admit their existence and the likelihood that they consider Earth to be a large petri dish.
