People change. Make room for that. Know that anytime two people always agree, one of them is not needed.

Marriage is a contract. Keep your end of it but don't be afraid to renegotiate it if that should make more sense.

Whatever your chosen religion, worship together. The man should lead his family in private prayer. At the very least, say table grace in private and in public. You have no idea how that strengthens the family ties … but it does, so just do it.
