My post was directed to Q's response to the Jew hate/Kabbalah statement by the Pelican poster.

Well as I look in the Gospels, Matthew and Luke both trace Jesus' lineage as coming from Abraham through King David all the way down to Joseph and Jesus.
Do you realize that Abraham was the father of the Hebrews. His grandson was Jacob, who was re-named Israel by God. His 12 sons were the fathers of the 12 tribes of Israel.
Judah was one of his sons who was allowed land in the area around Jerusalem. King David and his son Solomon were descendants of Judah (tribe of Judah).
Jesus was a descendant of them so he was an Israelite, a Hebrew, a member of the tribe of Judah.
Do you realize that Jew is just the English translation of the Hebrew word Yehudi (of the tribe of Judah)?

They did not take over the land. Most of them were expelled by the Romans and dispersed throughout the Roman empire. The Romans took over the land.
The lineage of Jesus was among those who were dispersed at the time of the Roman destruction of the Temple.
King of Judea is different from King of the Jews.
