It appears to this anon that the failed candidacies of Bloomberg and Steyer – in combination with the tweets ridiculing them – are designed to demonstrate to the likely Dem voters:

that the Dem party is, and always has been, corrupted by big money

that even though Trump is supposedly a wealthy individual, it was not his money that made him a successful leader, but his intellect, knowledge, drive, charisma, COMPETENCE.
It looks to this anon as if these 2 failed candidates are playing roles in the Plan, whether unwittingly or coerced.
