the following is a kind of satire, but tries to make the wheels of peaceful future smoothy turn to good resolution:

Where in Turkey could we put new cities? In many parts good people were long ago run off, and it turned into an agricultural zone. To accommodate the returning 'migrants' the Turks may need to, through their enormous hospitality, extend an open invitation to those who they shuttled off northward. Once the situation resolves, in a suitable manner (probably even for most Turks) one can imagine the Turks opening up their land and welcoming in a few million and a few million more into their wondrous country.

Satellite maps show large areas of farm land that could easily serve as the location for 17 to 45 new cities.

Maybe it's time for people to start designing these places, for the future can't wait.
