The truth is 1 historian wrote of Jesus and that historian happened to be a Jewish prisoner of war who went on to be granted the family name of his captors. Flavian Josephus was a turn coat who exchanged something for that title. Caesar Flavian did not hand out his family name lightly, especially to someone he had captured and nearly executed as "a magician."
"Give unto Caesar" sure seems like a good thing to have someone say to your enemies, who had revolted against idolatry up until that point.
Judea was a war torn area in the first century. It would be awful hard to walk along offering miracles in an area like that.
