Seedbanks are shifting to Feminized seeds, to meet demand for growers who are cornered with low numbers, thus huring the gene pool long term.
And, providing 'polyhybrid' crap, one strain crossed to the next willy nilly. Hard to do "real breeding" without the numbers, as cannabis is an "outcrosser". One needs to work with larger populations to do real work.
The Dispensaries are "doing something". Yes, concentrating to meet demand for this type of product. Selling buds with "bag appeal" and hype. Sometime mis-labeling product to move it. This is all 2nd hand info, never stepped in dispensary myself.
