Looks like Netflix should be added to the list of evil Big Tech. Reed Hastings has always been an arrogant asshole, but there's something strange about him hiring Susan Rice and also producing shows for the Obamas. I've subscribed to Netflix since they first started with the DVD mail service. As they got into the streaming and began producing content I had noticed that the shows have drifted more and more to the left with the propaganda. It is now blatant in many of the shows.

This is probably included in Q's words that this is bigger than we know. Smart TVs are very similar to smartphones in terms of how they capture user data and transmit it back to the folks on the other side. The very first time you turn on the TV there is a disclaimer (in very fine print) that comes up on the screen. And you have to click OK in order to start using the TV. I'd bet money that most people don't read that disclaimer. Basically, they are saying that by using the TV you agree that they may capture information about your viewing and that they may share this information with their third party affiliates. In other words, they're spying on you. Also, the TV may or may not have a hidden recording device that captures audio and/or video. Oh, yes. Your TV may actually be watching you. I read this somewhere a couple years ago and laughed at how ridiculous it sounded at the time. I'm not laughing now.
