Fukers. Because there were a historical number of threats against DJT that security was 10xs greater than any previous Inauguration. Importantly, the # of access points to the Mall and parade route for the general public was kept to the barest minimum. I had been to two previous inaugurations Bush 41 and Clinton's first, and there were NO restrictions of access the full length of the parade route. No doubt about it, the Dems, D.C. and the DS conspired to pull this "optics" coup.
