And why would we trust Congress to do the right thing in reforming FISA. Especially since no one seems to have a complete picture of how it has been abused.
I would be happy to see the whole thing lapse and when Wray's FBI puts together a revised FISA structure that addresses all the abuse that has occurred, Congress can create law to enact that. Reauthorizing FISA now just allows the FBI to not make the reforms that should be made. At a minimum, there should be no reauthorization until after Barr and Durham clearly divulge the flaws they have found in the program.
