Truth.

Q

Read the article.

"If he (Comey) had followed the law to the letter, he would have toppled the leading candidate for president and decapitated the Democratic party. Clinton supporters, more than 50% of the electorate, would have erupted in outrage, screaming that a politicized FBI had thrown the election to Donald Trump."

I have a couple of comments about this.

  1. Thank God Trump Won! But what if she had garnered the required electoral votes? Then what plans were in process?

  2. The person who gave this order and/or info to the writer (or the writer himself if these are his words) did the American people a GREAT disservice. While I understand that steps had to be taken so as NOT to upset her base, those steps, instead, thwarted and added-to the very broken rule-of-law that we are trying to get back to. Two wrongs don't make a right.

  3. If it's not apparent yet, let it be known that (and I'm taking a wild guess here) more than 50% of the American population abhor those types of political tactics. THIS is the very thing that pisses us off about Washington: PEOPLE not being held to the letter of the law. We would prefer that those breaking the law are brought up on charges, letting the chips fall where they may. Pretty sure we WANT the FBI to follow the letter of the law and make arrests when/where proof and necessity dictates, regardless of whether the nation is in the middle of an election or not. The FBI CHOSE to disregard evidence for WAY TOO LONG of a time period.

  4. I call BULLSHIT on the thoroughly political concern faced by the FBI.(Prosecutorial Restraint? Pffft!) If you have concrete evidence that a person has broken the law, you have ONE DUTY: Arrest them. Period. Especially when it comes to national security. Otherwise, you are not worthy of your position in our government.

  5. It is my sincere hope that going forward, those not living up to their appointments and/or job descriptions, and/or found to be breaking the law are IMMEDIATELY charged and removed from office until an outcome is secured.

  6. Did I mention I'm glad Trump won?
