Does invalidating the concept of hell invalidate the word of god in catholicism?
I'm no believer which is why I'm asking. I have no need for organized religion in my life to commune with my maker or exhibit morality that favors humanity and life.
I assume hell is invalid because the man 'god' puts in charge of the christian faith just said it was. Purgatory is a different concept. Saying hell doesn't exist makes the word of 'god' fallible.
