The First Amendment obviously has limitations such as yelling 'FIRE' in a crowded movie house, libel, etc.
The Second Amendment also has limitations. For example, it is a crime to brandish a firearm. There are more limitations.
The concept of the limitations on either the 1st or the 2nd are the same in that you as a speaker or a gun owner must respect your fellow man in exactly the same way you expect to be respected. Once you begin infringing upon the natural rights of another your 'rights' have gone too far.
Ultimately, the Bill of Rights were added to the Constitution as a reminder to both citizens and the government that the BoR was not established by man but are man's birthright from the Creator.
The individual is supreme and the government is secondary.
So even if idiot teens convince voters to elect politicians who might ultimately appoint judges so that they might 'legally' infringe upon our birthrights - they do not have the authority to do so. That does not mean they will not do it. It means we would have most probably reached the point where politics, diplomacy and discussion have ended.
Talk about the Law of Unintended Consequences.
I say that to myself all the time.
The Boomers were not enlightened.
They were simply the largest generation this country had ever seen.
They mistook their numbers for wisdom.
Conversely, the milennial believes because he was interfacing with the Matrix since birth that he is somehow wise. Fools.
Have you ever played smear the queer?
Have you ever hit anybody with a rock?
Have you ever kicked someone's ass and had your ass kicked?
Can you hunt?
Can you start a fire?
Can you grow food?
Etc…
You don't know shit.
Once you become completely responsible for yourselves, pay your way, take wives, support them, have children, protect them, watch as your mother and father slowly die in front of your fucking eyes and still remain solid because it is your duty to pass along some semblance of morals and courage and fight to your progeny then, and only then, will I give you the knowing nod that one man gives another.
We are fighting ISIS but our foreign policy establishment's stated objective is to remove the duly elected sovereign from governing a foreign country. PS, we do not have permission to be in Syria therefore we are a hostile invading force.
To make matters even more entertaining the Russians, who have long been allies with Syria, have been invited and subsequently wiped the floor with ISIS and much of Syria's foreign backed insurgents. It's kind of like WWII in that we take most of the credit but Russia did most of the fighting. Also, Iran is allied with Russia and Syria as well and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has been quite active in Syria as has been Hezbollah.
To make matters even more fun we have Erdogan and Turkey as an uninvited aggressor on Syrian soil as well. Erdogan and Turkey fear that the Kurds are going to come out of this conflict with a homeland and that they might dispossess Turkey of part of their territory. The Kurds are prevalent in SE Turkey, N Syria, N Iraq and NW Iran so it gets complicated.
Throw in that Erdogan and Turkey have been the primary gateway of Muslim migration to Europe and you begin to realize that the sick man of Europe appears to have as his goal the reestablishment of the Ottoman Empire and he backs ISIS.
So it's pretty complicated.
