So cal anon here. Small town in deep blue. Just got back from voting.

I did not register with a party preference. Was asked if I would like to vote for another party. Had checkboxes for every other party, except republican.

Had to do provisional ballot to vote repub. I asked why but of course got no valid answer. Those are just the rules, she said.

Couple things I noticed:

1. Long line at the voting place. There's never lines here.

2. Overheard a few others changing to republican
